2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, operated by Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA), acting as a processor under Article 28 GDPR. Delivery takes place through a global content delivery network, which may involve transfers to third countries; Cloudflare relies on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses for such transfers.

When you access the site, the host automatically records:

Purpose: secure, stable and technically correct delivery of the website and defence against attacks.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).
Retention: log data is deleted or anonymised automatically after a short period and is not combined with other data sources.

3. TLS encryption

This site uses TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the "https://" prefix in your browser's address bar.

4. Inquiry form

When you contact us through the inquiry form, we process the data you enter:

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract) and Article 6(1)(a) GDPR where you have expressly consented on submission. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future.

Retention: we keep your inquiry until it has been dealt with and no retention obligations remain. Statutory retention periods under commercial and tax law — up to ten years — remain unaffected.

Processing: the form is handled by a server-side function on the Cloudflare Pages platform. The inquiry is not stored there; it is forwarded immediately by email to our mailbox.

4.1 Email delivery provider: Brevo

We use the transactional email service Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, 106 boulevard Haussmann, 75008 Paris, France) to deliver form submissions to our mailbox. Brevo acts as a processor under Article 28 GDPR and processes the data on servers within the European Union.

4.2 Spam protection

To protect against automated submissions we use a field that is invisible to you ("honeypot"), a plausibility check on how long the form took to complete, and a limit on the number of submissions per IP address. No cookies are set and no profiling takes place.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in preventing misuse).

5. Cookies, tracking and third-party services

This website sets no cookies and uses no local storage. There is no web analytics and no tracking. No cookie banner is therefore required.

The following are deliberately not used:

6. Your rights

Subject to the statutory requirements, you have the right to:

An informal message to the contact details under section 1 is sufficient. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Article 77 GDPR). The competent authority for us is the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit, Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin (datenschutz-berlin.de).

7. Obligation to provide data

Providing your data is neither legally nor contractually required. Without the fields marked as required, however, we cannot process your inquiry.

8. Automated decision-making

No automated decision-making, including profiling, under Article 22 GDPR takes place.

9. Version

This privacy policy is valid as of 14 August 2026. Changes to the website or to legal requirements may make an update necessary.
